Apologies for this one Mark - you got the short end of it.  But now that
you're up to speed on the index, it would be great if you can test / profile
/ evaluate the next rev!

The code is still in motion, which is why it didn't get updated in CVS tip
yet.  Also, see my earlier message on the 8.1 update...
